TXU Energy lights up the Houston Zoo

TXU Energy and the Houston Zoo have teamed up again to bring joys to zoo visitors this holiday season. Similar to “Chill out at the Houston Zoo” where TXU provided frozen treats for the animals, TXU Energy Presents Zoo Lights is sponsoring millions of light displays all across the zoo starting on November 22^nd and going through January 5^th.

I know I love taking my kids to the zoo during the holidays. The colder weather seems to make the animals more active than during the heat of summer. The lights are an added bonus.

This year is expected to exceed last year’s total light count by one million lights. If the lights don’t get you in the holiday mood then maybe the seasonal music playing will.

FYI

The zoo will close at 5 PM then reopen at 6 PM. The costs vary depending on age, group, and membership.
