I was shocked at how many of you are talking about electricity and what you are saying about it. Most comments are how high your electricity bill is or how long it is taking to get your electricity back on after it went out. Some of the conversations about electricity, however, are entertaining.
I have seen this quote on twitter a lot “this generation is better prepared for a Zombie apocalypse than an hour without electricity.” It is funny how we make fun of ourselves for relying on electricity. If we did not have it our lives would stop. This is an over exaggeration but you, like others, may feel this way.
We use electricity all the time but don’t really think about it. If you live in a deregulated state you may think about electricity once a year when your contract ends or when your bill has doubled. It is not on your mind 24/7.
Common Comments on ElectricRates.com
Running an energy comparison website means I get to enjoy your feedback on electricity all the time. I get some interesting comments. The most common comment is “my electricity is out, when is it coming back on?” This common mistake of thinking we are the energy company happens all the time.
I love opinion comments. It lets me know what you are thinking. There are some of you who don’t always agree with what I have to say about electricity which is great. I’m glad you are keeping me honest by letting me know what you think. It also helps me write better articles to help you find what you are looking for.
I take into account what you say. I wrote an article about Viridian Energy which was titled “Viridian Energy Scam.” Chris was nice enough to read the article and commented that I should change the title to “Network Marketing Growing: fast and often misunderstood” so I did.
If you have something to say about electricity leave a comment. Share this on Facebook and Twitter to keep the conversation about electricity going. I know I will.
