I was wondering how you charge per kwh. I’ve been one of your residential customers since electric choice started. The rate on my PPL bill shows 0.08480. I’ve been seeing a rate of 0.0699 for awhile. I was wondering why my rate hasn’t gone down too. Is it based on monthly usage or being locked in for a certain amount of time? How does it work?
If you are looking at rates advertised compared to rates you are paying it could be a promo for new customers. I can’t tell for sure just by your comment but this is one possible reason.
The rate 0.06999 could be related to usage. Where are you finding the 0.0699 rate? I can look at the details and try give you a better answer.
I found the 0.06999 rate on PA Power Switch issued from the PUC which is emailed on a regular basis. It shows rates of various power companys. So why is my rate different from the rate shown on that list?
You need to call Dominion every so often to get the lower rate. They don’t automatically give it to you. 888-216-3721. Ask for the current rate.,
Dumb. Video says no Dominion service to my Zip Code and shows an image I can’t find anyway. I email Dominion, which says “Yes, we offer electric” and shows me an image of rates. Those rates don’t show on a PUC website. All of this energy choice business is like a dog chasing its tail.
